How to Get Top Grades for Your School Scrapbook

Making a school scrapbook is a great idea and a hot subject for many scrapbooking fans. This is because most people's college years helped define them into the person they are right now through all of the drama, events, buddies, awards and punishments.

With school being such a basic part of what formed you to be the person you are today, it's crucial that you capture those feelings in your album. On top of this, many faculties send parents many great scrapbooking materials, on an almost scheduled basis.

Firstly, most schools have a newsletter that gets sent out on a regular basis. If there is a big event that went on at college, it'll be covered in the newsletter. New buildings, big awards and sport teams winning will be covered in newsletters. So be sure to cling on to them for your school scrapbook.

College diaries are also another good source of material. In them you may find catalogues of homework, notices from teachers to parents, your ( or your child's ) doodles and doodles and so on. Skipping through the pages will yield some things that you're going to definitely want to put into your book.

At about that point its crucial to note that college is not invariably high grades and success, at some particular point nearly everyone has gotten a bad grade (or heaven forbid, lots of bad grades), detentions or notes home to parents. Don't leave these out! Some scrapbookers only wish to remember the great times and take a look at their recollections through rose coloured glasses, but you'll only actually capture the swings and roundabouts of your college years if you include the bad times with the good. It will add a authenticity to your school scrapbook that is hard to capture.

Pictures are your next stop. Its around school age that people start to get snap happy. Take your photograph albums, blow the dust off and go through them. You'll find some pics of you (or your youngsters) in a college uniform and plenty of ones with school buddies in them. To mix it up a little , if you have photos of them now, put them both in your book as a picture of then vs now.

Last but not least, don't forget to add in any awards that you or you children could have won. Whether its a sporting victory, maths competition, spelling bee, science award - or maybe just when you were given a gold star on your homework, add it into your school scrapbook. Ensure that you celebrate both the highpoints and lowpoints.

When your book is complete, it should be a colorful celebration of your great and not so great moments. A real testament of what made you the person you are today!
