Halloween School Party for 5 yr olds?
With Halloween Days away, I volunteered to make goodies for my daughters class. I checked out the regular websites(kraft, family etc) but nothing is striking my fancy. Last year, I did the earth worm cake but in cupcake forms, I thought it was pretty darn cool looking and they tasted great but aside from my own kids and the kid who ate five of them, nobody ate it them-fussy kids!- I want to make something other than cupcakes or cakes etc. Can someone give me some ideas please!

This year, I’m making – deviled egg eyeballs (deviled egg w/olive for ‘pupil’)
And, I’m letting the kids make their own bugs by putting out the following ingredients in little cups at each table:
– String cheese sticks (with butter knife for them to cut the cheese to size)
– Chow Mein noodles (for legs, antenna & to use to join pieces)
– Banana slices w/peanut butter for glue (to make caterpillars)
– grapes & raisins for decorative accents
