What About Learning Danish? Need some good insight!?

I’ve heard arguments as far as Swedish being the best Scandanavian language to learn. What is everyones opinion on possibly learning Danish? I speak Spanish, English, and Italian and would like to spread out but i’m back and forth between Finnish (I know it’s from a diff. family but it sounds cool), Swedish, Norwegian (i’ve heard is the easiest but maybe not as useful as Swedish), and Danish.

don’t just base your choice on the sounds of the language (it’s not like buying a cell phone!).

Morphology — Danish simplest, Swedish hardest (not counting Finnish, of course)
Syntax — equally hard (actually quite simple)
phonology (pronunciation) Danish hardest, Norwegian and Swedish about the same (they use tones, Danish uses stød, a glottal catch)

vocabulary — alll about the same

Someone pointed out that Norwegian is sort of between Swedish (sounds like Swedish) and Danish (looks like Danish).

Remember that Norwegian has lots of dialects (and two standard written languages– nynorsk and bokmål). If you are a linguist, Norwegian gives most interesting examples.
