The Very Best Of Supertramp

The Very Best Of Supertramp

$7.02

In the midst of the late 1970s punk/new wave revolution, England’s Supertramp tore a page from the Genesis playbook, suffusing their previously overwrought prog-rock influences and bittersweet hippie optimism gone sour with muscular pop hooks. They eventually became one of the world’s foremost rock acts–and later a rich source for contemporary TV commercial music. But while Supertramp peaked quic…

By 1969, lots of research, consultation with educators, and testing had culminated in Sesame Street…

There are two types of Schoolhouse Rock fans. Type A: those who–inspired in the ’70s and ’80s by “Conjunction Junction” and “Interjections!”–went on to become grammar gurus, copyeditors, and computational linguists. And type B: those who–less inspired by grammar than by catchy refrains–can still sing lines that today sound less than P.C.: Though Geraldine played hard to get (uh huh), Gera…

What is the best high school in America?

I wanted to know what is the best High school in America, cuz i might move to America this year!

The best public high school in America is Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST) at Alexandria, VA. But not everyone can attend; not only must you live in the area, but you must also apply and pass an admissions test. The top open-enrollment (i.e. no test) public high schools are the International Academy (Bloomfield Hills, MI); Mission San Jose High School (Fremont, CA); Yonkers High School (Yonkers, NY); South Side High School (Rockville City, NY); Langley High School (McLean, VA), and Jericho High School (Jericho, NY).

If you want to apply to a boarding school in the United States, you’ll need to complete an application and take the SSAT. The top boarding schools are (in no particular order): Phillips Exeter; Phillips Andover; Deerfield; Hotchkiss; Lawrenceville; and St. Paul’s.
