My daughter has a school puzzle that I can't help her with.?
Here is the puzzle. There are 2 squares on a piece of paper (drawn). One square is level the other is tilted so that the points of the square are sticking out of flat parts of the other square. These squares are laying on top of each other. Now it just looks like an eight sided object. (hopefully this makes sense). It kind of looks like this picture, but the pink square would be larger and its points would be on the outside of the other square to make 8 points. Don't mind the words on the picture. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0a/Four_elements_representation.png The actual puzzle is as follows: Use 8 pebbles (or whatever) and put them on the drawing, so there are 2 pebbles on each line and 6 pebbles in each square. WHAT THE HECK???? Anyone had this puzzle before?
