Is there something wrong with me?
i like eating chalk, not that white school chalk but the multi colored fat Crayola chalk it doesnt taste good but theres just something about the way that it crunches between my teeth when i bite into it,yes i do swallow it. i cant offer any other explanation why,,haha it started my junior year in highschool and i had a class that the teacher had a chalk board and he would collect the chalk dust and use it to mark the football feild (cuz he was a football coach) he used it as just n case. but i would find myself wanting to eat the chalk sooo bad so i asked my boyfriend to bring me a peice of Crayola chalk from his house so he did cuz he thought i would just take one bite and be totally disgusted and never do it again but here i am two years later and im still eating chalk,,can anyon help.?any ideas on how to stop cuz i do get cravings for it...?
I saw this on discovery health one time, this is right up there with the people who eat toilet paper, hair, and I saw one about chalk too, I forgot the show name though. They tried to get her to stop but she ended up saying since they don't believe it does any harm than she was going to keep eating it! See a psychologist about this and they can help you out.
