What help is out there for an LD person looking to get back to college.?
I went to college and couldn't handle it because of my trouble with my writing learning disability and my organization and time management. I know about landmark and beacon, if you have any more information that you think I should know about those two I would love to hear it. Because I didn't do well at my other school but I am an intelligent person I want to transfer to a good school but I feel like I need something to show them that I have changed and can do the work. Any Suggestions?
Landmark is a really good college for someone with a LD severe enough that it's preventing you from being able to do what you want to do. You can do your entire associates degree with them, and then transfer - and during the time you're with them, you're not only learning the academic subjects, you're also learning HOW to learn with your LD. It's a great place. It's expensive, but for those who go there, it's worth it. And financial aid is available. They also offer shorter, summer-long programs, which could also be an option for you. You should really check them out.
